Please read these terms carefully before making a booking with us.
These terms and conditions ("Terms") apply to all bookings made with Galaxy Cars & Airport Transfers ("we", "us", "our"). By making a booking you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
Galaxy Cars & Airport Transfers is a licensed private hire vehicle operator based in Eastleigh, Hampshire, UK. We are licensed by Eastleigh Borough Council.

A booking is confirmed once you receive a written confirmation from us by email or text message. We recommend checking your spam folder if you do not receive a confirmation within 30 minutes of booking.
It is your responsibility to ensure all journey details (pickup address, destination, date, time and passenger numbers) are correct at the time of booking. Please contact us immediately if any details need to be amended.
We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.
All prices quoted are fixed and inclusive of fuel, road tolls (where applicable) and VAT where chargeable. There are no hidden charges or meter running.
Waiting time charges may apply if you require your driver to wait beyond the agreed free waiting time (see Section 5). Additional charges may apply for extra stops not included in the original booking.
To cancel, please contact us by phone or email as early as possible. Cancellations must be confirmed in writing.
In the unlikely event we need to cancel your booking (e.g. due to a vehicle breakdown or emergency), we will give you as much notice as possible and provide a full refund. We will make every effort to arrange an alternative vehicle.
For airport arrivals, your driver will monitor your flight in real time. We allow up to 60 minutes of free waiting time after your flight lands. After this, waiting time charges may apply.
For non-airport pickups, your driver will arrive at the booked time. We allow up to 10 minutes of free waiting time. If you are not ready within this period and we cannot reach you, the booking may be treated as a no-show.
We track all inbound flights. If your flight is delayed, your driver will adjust their arrival time accordingly at no extra charge to you.
Bookings are made for a specified number of passengers and luggage items. If the actual number exceeds the capacity of the booked vehicle, we reserve the right to charge for an upgrade or to decline carriage.
Passengers must not travel with more luggage than declared at the time of booking. We cannot accept responsibility for delays caused by excess luggage.
We reserve the right to refuse carriage to, or to terminate the journey of, any passenger who is:

Eating, drinking (other than water) and smoking are not permitted in our vehicles. Any cleaning charges resulting from passenger behaviour will be charged to the passenger.
We carry appropriate public liability insurance as required by our private hire licence.
We will not be liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to: traffic conditions, road closures, severe weather, accidents or acts of God.
We will not be liable for any missed flights, trains or other connections. We recommend allowing sufficient travel time for your journey.
We will not be liable for any loss, damage or theft of personal belongings left in our vehicles, though we will make every effort to reunite you with any items found.
Child seats can be arranged on request — please specify requirements at the time of booking. Under UK law, it is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to ensure children are correctly seated and secured. We carry child seats in good faith but cannot guarantee fitment with all pushchair or child seat brands.
Guide dogs and assistance animals are always welcome. Pet animals may be carried at our driver's discretion and must be declared at the time of booking. An additional cleaning charge may apply.
If you are unhappy with any aspect of your journey, please contact us as soon as possible at info@galaxycars.org or 02382 182786. We take all complaints seriously and aim to resolve them within 5 working days.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the current Terms.
